Subscriptions Q & A

To bring you EXACTLY the comics, trades, and other related items that you want, we have brought onboard the industry gold standard for member ordering-Manage Comics. Here's the long and short of how to use the Manage Comics system. Trust me, it's a lot easier than I'm going to make it sounds.

First off: Before anything, you need to make a Manage Comics account. To do that, head over to our Subscriptions page:

and click on the "Please sign in to Manage Subscriptions" button. The next thing you'll see is a sign in screen. If you've used Manage Comics before, great! Just sign into your account. If not, click on the same button (Please sign into Manage Comics) and click on "Create Account" Next you're enter your name, email address, and you'll enter a password and BAM! You've got a Manage Comics account and you're ready to order any & everything that your heart desires! 

When you're ready: To start ordering there's a couple things that you can do. First, when you find a comic series or limited series that you know you want, just hit the "subscribe to series" button and you're done. If what you want is an action figure, or something that doesn't come out more than once, you can hit the "pre-order" button and the system will place your order. When the item/items come in, we'll send you an email and let you know.

The "deets" on getting your stuff: When you fill out your manage comics account, you'll be prompted to ask how often you want your stuff send. From weekly to monthly, there's plenty of options. The only thing that we ask is that you get your stuff mailed at least once a month. And hey, we're human too and we know that sometimes. things happen that you have no control over. If it's a case where you can't get your stuff in a month's time and need a few extra days, just send us an email and we can make arrangements to give you some extra time. Now, if you're in the Chicagoland area, we offer in-store pick-up over at our good friends Mr. Wayne's. If you choose in-store pick-up, your stuff will be waiting for you right when they open on Wednesday. As a bonus, they're open crazy late hours during the week, so if you have to work late, you can probably head over and grab your stuff. Check their website for specific hours. 

Some other things: When it comes to variant covers, it's a double-edged sword. There are variants that can be ordered however we like, then there are variants that are tied to how many comics that we ordered. Like for every 10, 25, 50, even 100 copies we order, we get 1 copy of a special variant. Admittedly, those are harder to get and will be handled on a case by case basis.....a lot of comics relaunch (I have NO clue how many volumes of Amazing Spider-Man there are) but have no fear! We're gonna make sure you're not going to miss an issue. So, if you're subscribed to Amazing Spider-Man and it relaunches, your subscription will automatically carry over unless you decide that you don't want to continue with the title.....Okay, I know I've thrown a lot at you.
